SPECIAL EVENTS
Letters to Santa
Ho, Ho, Ho…Santa will be sending letters from the North Pole. All mail must arrive at Village Hall no later than December 13. Letters should be dropped off at Santa’s mailbox inside of Village Hall. Santa’s letter will be personalized, so make sure that you include what toy you would like for Christmas, whom you will spend your holiday with and all of the good things you have done this year. Don’t forget your address – just so Santa doesn’t have to search too hard!

YOUTH
Adorable Christmas Puppies
Boys and Girls, have you ever dreamed of owning a pet?  Each child will have an adorable dog to stuff and bring to life.  You will then select a special name for your new puppy to fill out on his, her birth certificate.  We will also be decorating tee shirts, a rhinestone collar, and a blanket to lie on.  Ages 3-5 years old must have an adult present during class.  This class will be held Saturday, December 21 from 11am-12pm at the Municipal Annex.  The cost is $59 for residents and $64 for non-residents.

YOUTH/TEEN
Snow Tubing Trip – 4th-8th Grade
Send the kids with SEPR for a night of tubing at Villa Olivia!  They will enjoy sliding down the 800 ft. long snow tube run and then ride back up the hill on your tube using the tow lift.  No experience necessary!  100% snow making and grooming keeps the snow tubing hill ready for enjoyment throughout the winter season.  Extra money will be necessary to purchase anything from the concession stand.  We will have dinner in South Elgin and then head to the slopes. Dinner, transportation and tubing are included in the fee.  This trip will be held Thursday, January 2 from 5-9:30pm.  The cost is $42 for residents and $52 for non-residents.  The trip will begin at a local eatery TBD and will return to the Municipal Annex.
