Registration Information and Program Policies

Registration Information:  Mail in, drop off, fax and in-person registration are accepted. For drop off registration, place a completed program registration form and a check, Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date in an envelope marked: Parks & Recreation in the drop box at Village Hall.  Do not enclose cash.  In-person registration is taken at Village Hall, 10 North Water Street from 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Mondays and 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. If you are choosing to fax a registration, fax to 847-622-0462. This type of registration can only be processed with a credit card. 

A completed Family Information Form is required by each family prior to registering for any program. 

Registration forms must be filled out completely and include full program fee - deposits are not accepted. Incomplete registrations or those without payment will be returned.

Unless you are otherwise notified, you are enrolled and should attend the first scheduled class.  Confirmations are not sent.

Register early! Nothing ruins a good program more than everyone waiting until the last minute to register. Programs are generally cancelled one week prior to the start date if there aren't enough registrants. 

Refund and Credit Policy: Refunds will only be given if the amount is at least $10; amounts under $10 will be issued a credit.  If a refund is requested prior to the start of class, the full amount minus a $10 service charge will be issued. If a refund is requested after the start of the class, a $10 service charge plus a prorated credit or refund will be issued. Refunds and/or credits for trips will only be given if the spot is filled. Refunds and/or credits for food, beverage, clothing or equipment will not be given. Credits for deposits, when applicable, will be based on the individual program's policy. Credit card refunds will be credited directly to the credit card. Credits will expire one year after the issue date.

Safety is of the utmost importance, please report any safety hazards you may notice at any of our facilities or parks by calling 847-622-0003.

We love parents.... but during class we ask that parents wait in the lobby so children can focus on the activity at hand. If a child is afraid to stay by themsevles, please speak with the instructor before class. Thank you for understanding.
