National Night Out

National Night Out (NNO) is the highlight of the year for the South Elgin Police Department. It allows us and the Village a time to come together as one for the biggest and safest block party of the year. It gives all of us an opportunity to unite against crime while enjoying good family fun.
Last year, due to a combination of police retirements and an influx of new/rookie officers, we hosted a smaller event during a September afternoon. And while it was great, it just didn't feel the same as National Night Out. We're eager to get back to the roots of the event and host NNO on its actual night, Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Panton Mill Park from 6-9pm. The evening will include food trucks, entertainment and musical performances by Rich and Ashley of Tennessee Whiskey (7pm) and 7th Heaven at 7:30pm! We’ll post updates on the Village Facebook page and at southelgin.com/SEPD.
We hope you will join us to celebrate this historic 40th Anniversary milestone for National Night Out, to support our police officers, and to support each other as
a Village. We are ONE South Elgin.
