Dog Park

South Elgin's Dog Park is located in County Park (225 S Water Street) behind the Trolley Museum and just south of SEBA Park.  With a serene, picturesque setting, the dog park is a converted ballfield with completely enclosed fencing. The park is accessible via parking spaces near the dog park and a walking bridge from the SEBA Park parking lot.

News you might need to break gently to your pup: the Village's dog park will be closed temporarily beginning Monday, September 20, 2021 for a handful of upgrades, including:
1. Additional drainage at the main entrance to pull water away from the area receiving the most traffic
2. Installing a concrete pad at the entrance
3. Creating a run area for small dogs
We do not have a firm completion and re-opening date at this time. Please watch for updates via this page or the Village's Facebook page
