Residents are served by two excellent school districts, a community college district and private school opportunities.  Refer to your tax bill to see which school district you belong to.

School District U-46 is the second largest district in Illinois, serving over 40,000 students in all grade levels from 11 communities in Chicago's northwest suburbs. Because of its size, the district offers the most comprehensive K-12 educational opportunities available in the Fox Valley area.

Community Unit School District 303 is a high-achieving, K-12 system located in the Fox River Valley, 40 miles northwest of Chicago. District 303 covers 57 square miles including St. Charles and portions of West Chicago, South Elgin, Wayne, Wasco, Elburn, and some area in between. The district operates 12 elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools, serving over 13,000 students.

Elgin Community College (District 509) is a comprehensive community college serving students at every stage of their educational journeys. From university transfer programs to continuing education classes to childcare and arts center events for the community, ECC offers something for everyone.

St. Patrick Catholic School is a private, faith-based grammar school for pre-school through eighth grade.
