The Department of Administration is the public service, public information and public relations center of the Village. Administration divides responsibilities into two programs: Communications and General Government.  The Department’s mission is to plan, direct and manage the efficient delivery of public services to residents; promote the Village’s positive identity and sense of civic pride; maintain public records in accordance with applicable laws and ensure all parties have access to public information.

Meet the Director
Village Administrator, Steve Super, began working for the Village in 1999, and previously served as Director of Community Development.  Steve earned his undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State (Minnesota) and his Master's degree from Northern Illinois University. Steve currently serves on the Board of Elgin's Boys and Girls Club of America. He'll also gladly talk with you about Premiere League soccer...especially as it relates to the Leicester City Foxes.
