Parks & Recreation (Part-Time) Youth Program Coordinator
The Village of South Elgin is seeking a perceptive and well-rounded Youth Program Coordinator to operate sports classes for youth age participants.  Candidate should be familiar with safe, educational and fun ways of teaching variety of different sports, or the ability to learn them. Position requires someone who is able to teach, has knowledge of a variety of sports; able to motivate and inspire youth participation; has patience and the able to communicate well with all participants. Candidates should have prior coaching experience.

Preferred applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).  This is a flexible part-time position with frequent shift changes. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with no benefits. The Village of South Elgin is seeking employees to work Before School Care at Corron Elementary School. Qualifications include a minimum of 16 years of age; must be enthusiastic, organized, energetic, enjoy working with children of all ages, and must possess excellent communication skills.  Need to be available M-F from 6-7:45am (may not work every day).  This position may lead into other employment opportunities for programs including After School Program, Summer Camp and other recreational programs as needed.
