About the Preschool Pals
The South Elgin Parks & Recreation Preschool Pals program offers an opportunity for your child to learn and develop age appropriate benchmarks through a fun and engaging atmosphere. Our teachers build a curriculum that will foster natural interests and understanding with basic concepts. We offer a nurturing, fun, and safe environment which fosters curiosity. The program and curriculum emphasizes social/emotional skills, which are the foundation of all learning. Children will engage in everyday activities including, Reading, Writing, Art, Music, Math, Science, Small and Large motor activities, dramatic play, circle time and group discussions. This program will help prepare your student for kindergarten and beyond.

Preschool Registration for School Year 24/25
New Student Registration
Opens Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10am
$40 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration
Registration will be available online at southelgin.com/registration and at Village Hall, 10 N. Water Street. Classes are first come first serve for registration. Once a class is full, you will be put on a waitlist. You are able to register for a different class as well if you choose. You are strongly encouraged to check or set-up your household online registration profile in advance, to ensure you are ready to register with ease.

Your child must be 2 years of age prior to September 1, 2024.
Age: 2 years old
Fee: $56 R/$73 NR per month
$454 R/$592 NR Full Year (If paid by 9/1/2024 at 5pm)

Fee: $182 R/$200 NR per month
$1,475 R/$1,620 NR Full Year (If paid by 9/1/2024 at 5pm)

Your child must be toilet trained and 4 years of age prior to September 1, 2024. Your child must have attended 1 previous year of preschool to attend the extended day.
